LT Spice Library models
Design engineers and product development engineers normally start with schematic design and do simulations to optimize their designs. This inductor SPICE model can help engineers model inductors in their circuit.
CWS provides this LT Spice simulation model so that design engineers can select the most optimal inductive component for the circuit design.
LT Spice – how it works
• LT Spice Schematic and simulation platform is provided by Analog devices (www.Analog.com) for easy circuit modeling. The LT SPICE platform has become an industry standard for many other simulation software and tools. This platform saves time, cost, and efforts by minimizing re-spins of actual circuit hardware.
• Many design engineers and educational institutions use LT Spice for circuit designing and simulating the circuits by importing the library components from various manufacturers.
• Various components manufacturers such as inductors, transformer, coils, capacitors, resistors, other active and passive components have made SPICE Library of their components that users can download and link within their LT Spice circuit design and do simulation.

CWS Coils: LT Spice models
• With design engineers, design professionals, and educational institutions in mind, CWS has made the LT Spice model library of the various inductors.
• Designers can download the library in their computer system and link with the library to the LT Spice software for the Schematic design modeling and simulation.

Installation of CWS Model Library (General)
=====================================
The zipped model library folder of the CWS Power Inductors for LTspice comprises the following 2 folders:
• - CWS_<Type> Inductor : This is the Symbol folder contains the symbol data file representing the graphics information required by the graphic user interface (e.g MF270-102M-3.0AH)
• - CWS_<Type> Inductor_LTC_Library : This folder contains the ASCII data file (e.g CWS_MF_Toroid Inductor.lib) that represents the actual library
NOTE: PLEASE DON'T RENAME ANY OF THE ABOVE 2 FOLDERS.
<Type> this is specific Toroid Inductor type like MF series

LTspice XVII
=====================================
1) Please make sure that LTspice software is not running.
2) Copy the folder " CWS_<Type> Inductor_LTC_Library" folder to C:/ directory.
3) Go to the (sym) folder. You will find it in the installed (LTspiceXVII) folder in the (Documents) folder.
• - The path should be like this: C:Users / "USER NAME" / Documents / LTspiceXVII / lib / sym
• - Copy the CWS_<Type> Inductor folder to above directory.
4) On the next start of LTspiceXVII, open a New Schematic, Click on the Component Library (or press on F2), you will find the [CWS_Power Inductor] folder appears in the LT Spice Component library.
5) Double Click on [CWS_<Type> Inductor] e.g [ CWS_Power Inductor] folder and choose your Part number.
