Devices must be used in accordance with manufacturer specifications and application guidelines.
This includes, but not limited to, gas furnace heating systems, where the operator sets the low speed blower fan start up delay to a minimum of three minutes.Â
Devices should not be used in gas furnace heating system where the low speed blower fan delay cannot be set to three minutes or longer after the call for heat by the operator.Â
Devices ensure that the gas furnace blower fan only runs at high speed for maximum energy savings efficiency.
