Power Choke. PV and PVB Series


The PV Series and PVB Series have the exact same electrical characteristics, and uses the exact same rod core, number of turns, wire size and lead spacing for PCB mounting.

The PVB Series is mounted on a plastic header which increases the cost, and is not recommended for all new designs. The header in the PVB Series increases the overall OD by another 2mm, even though the lead spacing is exactly the same as the PV Series. The PCB Series is equivalent to Coilcraft PCV-1 which can be replaced with CWS's PV Series.
